Gynemed Surgical Center has created a forum for our patients to give us feedback on how our staff and facility performed during their visit.

First off this place was clean and cheaper than other centers. Second the people were polite and explained the process and allowed me to feel comfortable. I would send a friend or family member here cuz they are nice and professional.
The staff was very nice and procedure as painless. The wait time was about 3 hours but it was not all that bad. I came here because a family member told me about the place. They take medicaid so it was all covered.
My boyfriend looked up this place on the internet and they seemed to have a lot of information about the entire process and they took my insurance. When I got here everyone was nice and I did not feel like anyone was judging me.
I went here a week ago and it was the best experience I have ever had, the staff is very friendly. This is my 2nd one in 8 years and I didnt think I would have to go through it again but financial situation made both me and my partner decide it wasnt the right time. I do NOT remember anything about the procedure last thing I remember was closing my eyes then waking up getting into a wheelchair being transported to the recovery room. I was there for 5hrs so yes it is an all day thing, but nobody makes you feel uncomfortable. They have 2 waiting rooms one is closed off a little more private than the other. Yes they do take MD medical asst. I would recommend this place to any of my friends if they are ever in this situation. Thankyou for being so kind and wonderful
Everyone was really nice. I came here because they have twilight sedation and I actually was asleep for the procedure. I woke up and was taken to recovery where they took care of me until I was fully awake and ready to go home.
I was prepared for my procedure because I knew I could not support another child. I picked gynemed because the place seemed comfortable. I was aware of the wait time and it did not seem like it was that long of a wait when I got here. The front desk has knowledgeable and helpful people to answer any questions.
Very professional and caring staff. Everyone was very nice and respectful of my decision. I did not feel judged at any point during my visit. I did not use the private services but was still out in less than the 4-6 hours that was quoted. I do not remember anything about the procedure, except for how friendly the doctor was before the proedure. No pain afterwards, just very sleepy until sedation wore off. I would recommend this center to anyone! Thank you all so much!
I want to thank you all for the reviews on this board. The reason I went to Gynemed was because of all of your messages and reviews. I felt comfortable when I went here because you all had a good experience.
The information on the internet was good and informative. I felt that this was a good place to get the procedure done and that I was not going to have a lot of problems.
I was recommended by Planned Parenthood in Annapolis. They said that this center performs safe abortions and they have a caring staff.
I did not know about this place until I was DENIED from Planned Parenthood. The staff at Gynemed took great care of me and I was please with the services they provided.

Our office does not open until 8:30am. All patients receive a 15 minute grace period if no phone call or voicemail is received.
Patients are scheduled based on the amount of weeks they are at the time of scheduling their appointment.
In order to be fair to our other patients we normally do not extend this 15 minute grace period as we schedule patients throughout the day. Our waiting room may not look busy when you arrived, but we schedule between 25-30 patients a day.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but there are rules that the staff have to follow, set in place by management.
I had a bad experience when I was late for an appiointment. I tried calling and the night mode was still on. Got into a big argument with a front desk person. When I got in the place hardly anyone was there and they could have seen me. I have been there before an received excellent service. Just dont be late. They will not let you be seen not matter how much you plead with them.
Your center has good references and comments. I like to know that other people trust your center and have had a positive experience there.
The physician was excellent and explained the entire abortion process before they did anything.
This is a center that I trust. They have a good staff and they look out for the patient.
When speaking with the doctor I felt more comfortable. The doctor explained the entire process and made me feel comfortable. The sedation was good because I do not remember he procedure.
The abortion process was a lot more simple than I had expected it to be. Thank you to all the staff!

I found their advertisement in the yellow book useful. I went online and I got more information on their website about abortions.
I was sedated and I experienced almost no pain afterwards. I felt like the staff at Gynemed actually cares.
The people that work here are very helpful and informative.
Everyone was nice and it was quick and to the point. Easy abortion procedure.
