Gynemed Surgical Center has lower fees than the majority of hospitals and clinics in our area. Fees are all inclusive and are based on the procedure -- medical or surgical and the length of pregnancy. All patients will have an ultrasound to determine gestation, laboratory tests to determine Rh-factor and if deemed necessary a Hematocrit. Patients who are Rh-negative must receive an injection and there is no additional fee for this injection.

You have the choice of local anesthesia, IV sedation or general anesthesia for the same all inclusive fee. Please call for our fee schedule. Payment is expected in full on the day of the appointment. Cash, money order, visa, mastercard, discover, american express and/or debit cards are accepted for payment. If a credit card or debit card is used, the cardholder must be present with picture identification. We welcome the opportunity to serve you.

Many insurance plans are accepted at the center including: all Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans, all Aetna plans, Alliance PPO, Optimum Choice, M.D.I.P.A., Coventry, United Healthcare, MAMSI and all Maryland Medical Assistance programs.

In order to provide you with the best possible service, we recommend phoning the Center before your visit.

• To schedule a Surgical or Non-Surgical Abortion appointment, please call the Center during our normal business hours.
  
  
• Appointments for Private Abortions are scheduled Tuesday through Friday afternoons.
  
  
• Our non-abortion related services are performed with an appointment or on a walk-in basis Monday through Friday from 9 A.M. until 4 P.M. and on Saturday from 9 A.M. until 1 P.M.
  
  
• Full payment is due at the time of appointment.
  
  
• We accept cash, money orders, credit cards (MC | Visa | American Express) and ATM cards if the cardholder is present to sign for charges. We do not accept personal checks.
